Steering Committee for 2007 Livable Centers Initiative (LCI) Study Tuesday, July 3 2007
Marcy Hanks and Jeff Foster accepted an invitation to participate on the Steering Committee for the 2007 Livable Centers Initiative(LCI) Study from the Mayor of the City of Monroe. The LCI is a program offered by the Atlanta Regional Commission that encourages local jurisdiction to plan and implement strategies that link transportation improvements with land use development strategies to create sustainable, livable communities consistent with regional development policies.

Lawyers Foundation of Georgia Tuesday, November 21 2006
We are pleased to announce that Marcy Hanks has been selected by her colleagues to join the Fellows Program of the Lawyers Foundation of Georgia, Inc. Ms. Hanks is among only 4% of the active members of the State Bar of Georgia to be selected. The invitation to membership in the Fellows Program is an honor that recognizes those few lawyers whose public and private careers demonstrate outstanding legal abilities and devotion to their communities. The Fellows Program was established in 1983 with the vision of outstanding legal professionals who administer a fund to enhance the system of justice, to support the lawyers who serve it, and to assist the community served by it.

Walton County Law Library Board Tuesday, May 16 2006
Marcy Hanks, by unanimous vote, was appointed as one of two local attorneys to the Board of the Walton County Law Library on April 28, 2006.
